Why do we need the VIN?
The VIN (chassis no., frame no.) and engine number helps us to find out if your vehicle is suitable for the retrofit. Second, we get the Information which parts we have to use to connect Blue Ignition with the existing ignition system. We are able to find the right spark plugs that can be used for your car. We may have sold already a version for a similar model than yours, but that does not guarantee that the part are the same.
Blue Ignition is manufactured for specific models. The warranty is bound on the vehicle and customer. To use the same Blue Ignition for a different car may damage the ignition. That is not covered by the warranty Ecomotive is giving for Blue Ignition.
If your ownership document of the vehicle (UK V5C) does not contain those number you are able to find them on a tag in the engine bay of your vehicle. Please refer to the samples.
